As an activity, I asked one of my business students to make a presentation about Korean fashion (as it was her major). She readily obliged that request and made me see a little bit of Korean street fashion.
What made me interested was a the bag I saw… apparently its the new trend in Korea, the Envelope Clutch Bag.
My student left Korea two months ago but she has not seen this bag. It was only one month before that this bag has become a hit and the trend has spread among the young people, making it a must have for Korean street wear. (She said it was because one drama used it as an accessory, she couldn’t tell me what the drama was though).
I saw the exact same bag when I went on a trip to Singapore 2 weeks ago. I wanted to buy one because at that time I thought it would be a good place to put some of my documents and it looked fashionable. Little did I know that this was the current trend in Korea! Sigh I should have trusted my instinct.. I should have bought one!
To others it may look like a typical envelope, but it comes in different colors and materials that goes well with your clothes. It’s amazing how they come up with something that’s so fashionable! Even men can use these bags and they still look good!!! I’m not an expert in fashion but this is one bag I want to have especially now because not everyone has it…
I wonder when it will be a big hit where I live?
