But I actually made this post because for the past few weeks I have met 2 friends on my blog who I think are the best at this topic and I want to make a post especially for them both so they can share their thoughts!
They have the best resources for this… and their powers are not the same as mine… so I invite both Esigh and Bigungmama to share thoughts on the topic posted above…
And this would be a nice resource for JJH and YEH fans who both want them to end up with each other (me included).

Thank you chipskjaa for making a new blog for us die-hard JJH/YEH shippers! I love the pics you used for your post. The lollipop pic is on my iphone. I don’t know what it is about these two, but I really think they are just toooo CUTE! They are meant to be together. I don’t care what others think or feel about YEH’s past dramas and how she looks so good with Gong Yoo or Kang Ji Hwan. YEH looks good with anyone. I admit that GY and KJH are dreamboats, but she definitely has some kind of “real” connection with JJH. I just have this gut feeling that her and JJH fell in love while making the drama. If she ends up marrying somebody else, then I will say she is definitely a great actress, because she fooled me as far as how she behaved with JJH in the bts videos. YEH seems like such a down to earth kind of gal that she would get along with most anyone, but she was very relaxed and friendly with JJH. She even said that during the kissing scenes, they didn’t have to rehearse or had many NGs. They were just naturals with the kissing scenes, She didn’t seem as comfortable with YSH from My Fair Lady, From watching a bts from My Fair Lady, she had to do the kissing scene a fair amount of times. She was not satisfied with his kissing. JJH is a better kisser! She’s probably thinking JJH would get it right the first time! Hahahaha.
Thanks esigh for the video of YEH in the Come and Play show. I wish I could understand what they are saying. If she did tell her future hubby that he could stay home and watch the babies, she’s talking about JJH! Her friend Park Han Byul is with Seven. They have been together for 10 years now. Why is it that PHB can be out in the open with her relationship with Seven, but YEH cannot be with JJH? I’m not happy!!! Korean netizens are too much! If YEH and JJH confessed their love for each other, I would be jumping up and down for joy! Please let it happen soon!

chipskjaa, you’re really baiting me with this post. i think you are hoping i will lay down neatly here my sources for why i think they’re together. bad girl. not gonna happen. already two videos that i know of were taken down from youtube, because of some comments i posted, essentially erasing what i said from public record, silencing me. however, i can talk about the most recent find i had. they are still public record as of now.
i say they are a real couple. why? during the promotion of her first comeback project MBMD since 2009 (MFL), YEH appeared on the MBC variety show Come to Play special on Women You Want to Marry. YEH talked about a lot of things including the many ordeals she went through trying to get rid of the singer-turned-actress lable via the drama Coffee Prince. she also talked about wanting to get married since she was 22 years old and that the biggest turn-off for her with men is having fake attitude. towards the end of the program, the guests were asked to give a message to their future husbands and YEH’s message was “Even if you don’t have a job right now, it’s alright. If you watch the baby, and do a little cleaning and dishwashing, I’ll work hard and bring home lots of money. Let’s happily/fruitfully live together.” (and chipskjaa says, cue goong scene with ck coming home from work and shin preparing food and taking care of the babies – i’m still laughing right now!). this was march 2011. then soon after, on another promotional show, star date – guerilla interview, when asked who she wants to take to the amusement park with her, YEH answers, “my husband,” to which the interviewer says, “you talk about a husband when you don’t even have a boyfriend.” caught! smart interviewer!
those are my premise. conclusion: YEH met JJH when she was 22 yrs. old. in her 2012 high cut interview, YEH said abt JJH that “he is a very honest person,” and although JJH is not her type cuz “he’s so handsome,” and makes her nervous, she would pick “JJH with a caring mind” over KJH, who is “…nice to all the girls…” so, i’m concluding that JJH only took care of her, not all the other girls, including song ji hyo. the message for future husband, isn’t it obvious whom it’s for? at that time, JJH did not have a job and his acting future was in doubt. some people even went so far to say that his career was over. YEH picking that goong scene to send as a message is actually picking one man to send it to – young-ah. she was trying to reassure him that it’s alright with her, don’t lose confidence, preparing the field for him for when he comes out from the military. she even got emotional giving that message, which put an exclamation point on the reality of the situation in the message she was giving. it wasn’t made up. people in south korea may have forgotten since goong was shown many years ago. YEH probably thought it was safe. but we haven’t forgotten, have we?. i just saw it again a while ago. that is ep. 23.2, my favorite ep and permanently open on my laptop. oh sure, people will say he’s not her type. type, hype, skype, what does that have to do with anything? when it comes to love, you marry who your heart chooses, even a jobless guy.
timeline is also important. 2009 was the last time YEH had any drama (MFL or TCOTYL) before 2011. it was also the year that JJH committed his near career-ending mistake. MFL was called a flop in some corners and YEH got blamed for it – didn’t promote it well, poor acting, bad script, etc. coming on the heels of CP, a lot was expected from YEH. they said she didn’t deliver. all of JJH’s projects were cancelled, including a movie that was to be jointly produced by japanese investors. JJH began his community service. with these in mind, i don’t blame YEH if she can’t concentrate so much with acting. for all i know, she could have .done community service with him, lol. in spirit, maybe. so YEH decided to take a break from acting, but making “lots of money” doing commercials.
then we have the songs back and forth. i will not post it here again. if anyone wants to read it, it’s on the drama recommendations post, under goong. most recently YEH was present in the VIP premiere of JJH’s movie “i am a king” to support him – “…young-ah, fighting, cheongmal fighting!…” other than those related to the movie, i think noone else would like to see it succeed more than YEH. vested interest? i think so. i hope it climbs to the top. right now it’s at #3. bingungmama, i think they intended to come out, but the announcement got derailed when JJH had his problem. now it’s on the fast track, with JJH having two projects in one year trying to firmly re-establish his acting career. i hope the ratings for “five fingers” will be high as well. if so then i believe something big will happen by the end of this year.
that’s my story and i’m sticking with it. oh, btw bingungmama, chipskjaa looked at the ctp vid and translated the message. it was essentially the same, except she added the baby and dishwashing. you know, shin did wash the dishes in goong. YEH must be remembering the back hug that’s why she was teary-eyed in ctp, bwahahahaha! i’ll wait YEH. i’ve only been a fan for 3 months, what’s a few more months of waiting? the waiting must be harder on you than anybody else. it’ll happen, just hang in there. YEH, fighting!

all the others were like she met them and fell in love with them..
but in goong, shin became her husband first before chaekyung fell for him.. right?

not really. you’re right. i was thinking that, too. she only actually had one husband in her dramas (vs. having a husband at the end of the drama), hence my alluding to it in the star date interview. heeey, nice catch, you. there is no mystery at all. like i said on the other post, if you pay attention to details, know how to read between the lines, and have not become jaded from years of bad press and scandals, these two are actually very transparent. there were many instances where i saw this, but i’m not gonna say. no matter how they try, they can’t hide “the moment of truth in your lies,” as JJH puts it, thru the song IRIS.

Hi esigh and chipskjaa! Thank you for confirming what I believe to be true also. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels that there is something more between JJH&YEH. I just feel so sad for the 2 of them. I understand how they needed to wait until JJH gets his career going again, but it’s just so unfortunate that they cannot be open about their relationship. I know YEH has said in the past that she wants to get married young and to be able to hold her husbands hand in public. Oh…I wonder if she watches Goong a lot like me to reminisce about all the cute times she had with JJH. I think we will keep it on the low down because they are waiting for the right time to announce their engagement. “smirk”
esigh…let’s just watch Goong when we need our Shin goong/Chae-Khung fix. Watching those two on the screen always puts a smile on my face, especially the “happy together” scenes.

on top of all these, there is a new magazine interview of JJH. i found it online, but it’s in korean. i thought i was lucky cuz there is a translate button. i clicked on it and voila! it turned into english. however, you know how koreans write from right to left? well, the translation came out jumbled, cuz the romanization was left to write. i may get a complete phrase, but i don’t know where it connects to, cuz of another problem – literal translation. for example, the phrase “100% purity of communication” (this is actually a subheading in the article), what does this mean? were they talking about telecom, fiber optics, what? then it dawned on me that maybe he was talking about being honest/truthful about what he says. ok, so that’s that. then another phrase starts, but i see the word “smoke.” what now? i’m like, “what has he been smoking again?” come to think of it, maybe it meant vague/hazy or trying to cover up, “putting up a smoke screen”, so to speak, since they’re talking about honesty/truthfulness. it got too hard that i finally gave up trying to understand it, but not before i saw one phrase. it was towards the end of the page – i didn’t bother to look if there are more. the phrase was “want to do something with a petite actress.” hmmm, my curiousity radar went “blip, blip, blip.” wouldn’t you be curious? we know that he is honest. case in point, that video i asked you about, where he was asked about the “scandal” with YEH and what can he say about it? no denials, no excuses, just “you’re always in my heart.” another ex., in the goong special, when he was asked what he thought about hwang pd’s stement that JJH is handsome so he’s definitely going to make it big, he said “well, it’s the truth.” (lol) he was ashamed for being shameless (is this an oxymoron?lol), but he was honest. i know, i’m rambling. my point is i want to know what he said, cuz i know that he was being honest or trying to be. i want to see whether it’s going to add fuel to my obssession. if only i can read hangul, i can really weave a good story

When the director Hwant said he was handsome and that he would do well in Goong, wasn’t that also stated in the Goong 1,5 special? I rememeber hearing/seeing that statement. JJH is so funny! He really has a good sense of humor and I know YEH likes men with a good sense of humor. There’s too many similar interests that these 2 lovebirds have, that make me positive that they are really together. I should upload the two pics that my other friend put on her facebook. They both have the same phone and same case for the phone. How cute is that?
I’ll wait for your reply on whether you want the article translated. I saw episodes 23 & 24 over the weekend again because my neice borrowed my DVD’s of Goong, but said she never saw the ending. Hi all, wow so happy that JJH-YEH shippers still breathing until now 🙂 happy because I’m not the only one who still crazy about them even though it’s been years since Goong Fever in 2006.
I love this couple so much! I do believe they have “that” feeling toward each other, I can tell by their eyes and their cuteness in BTS, NG, and Goong 1,5. And even until now, I still believe “that” feeling still exist in their hearts.
In Goong 1.5 when they showed the three main plot for Goong 2, and when they showed the plot Shin become a movie director and cheats with a female actress:
YEH: “Really? I have to see him cheat on me again?!”
female host: ”Yeah, you have to watch him cheat on you again”
YEH: “ooh”
and then JJH said, “No, I have no intention doing that” (JJH saw towards YEH and smile and then YEH also smile)
Audience: “Aaaaaw”
–When JJH said that, I found that was so cute. I found when he said that wasn’t as Shin towards Chaegyung but as himself towards YEH, you can see by the way his voice tone when he said that, his eyes and smile 😀
I dunno that was only coincidental or not, but during JJH in military service, YEH mostly dressed with green army colours or army looks lol :p and have you girls seen this one? cara, that part about the cheating in the goong special 1.5 is one of my favorite scenes in the special. young-ah’s tone was very different – so sweet. it was personal for him, cuz how does he know how the drama (goong 2) will turn out if it was ever made? so i think he was speaking about the real life drama. he was so quick to defend hinself to yeh that he had a slip of the tongue. again, can’t hide the “moment of truth in your lies.” everytime he spoke to yeh, the tone was different. when they were talking about how they’d gotten closer in the last month of the shoot and young-ah said “heeeey,” so sweet and tender. i love it!

yay! the more the merrier! hello everyone!! thank you for that pic caradreams. bingung, i’m still looking for that link. for some reason it disappeared. our mutual friend tarits want me to ask you what is your handle on soompi. it’s bugging her and now she’s bugging me (lol). it was her that gave the link and i was asking her if she still have it cuz i can’t find it. please, no spies here (lol). i found out a lot of things since i last posted, but now i’m hesitant to share cuz when i do, something happens to my source – they disappear – (how’s that for a conspiracy theory?). i theorized somewhere that they will finally be spending christmas and new year together – i am right! i will not tell you how i found out and who said it, but suffice to say that it came straight from the horse’s mouth or hand (wink, wink).

Yeah, esigh…I talked with tarits and she told me that you got a hold of her on her facebook. I’m so happy that we can talk all we want about YEH/JJH. Hi Esigh. It is 8 am Sunday. I will see my friend around 2:00 pm. I am so excited to get the translations for us. Technology is so cool. I can show her the tweets from my iPhone. Thanks for finding all the info. Our mutual friend Tarits has a lot if pics and info too, right? I knew about YEH’s twitter account, but a lot of her tweets were not translated so I didn’t bother. Annyeo everyone! I have sooooo much to write about. OK….I saw my Korean friend today to try Korean food for the first time and to get the low down on all the questions that we have.
First, I like Korean food. I am a very picky eater and I enjoyed most of the foods. I don’t like spicy stuff, so I didn’t try the spicy kimchi. I ate bibimbap,(sp?) I think that’s what it’s called and I like it. I tried some kind of Korean pancake and that was yummy too. I tried the beef lettuce wraps that my husband ordered – yummy again. I didn’t care for the seaweed soup, but I couldn’t try everything because I was getting so full by then.
Now, to the translations…I copied esigh’s post and I will add my translations from what my friend told me. Now, I am warning you that since my friend is very fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Korean, she is not very literate in English, so the translations are not exact. She was giving me just the main idea. So here it goes….

These already have the English translations and my friend, I’ll call her TK said that all the translations are very good, except it is not a neutral person talking. She is speaking about a male person. Meaning, she is talking about a guy, JJH! (We hope). She stressed that YEH wanted to say Yes! But we don’t know what the question was!

OK, now to the JJH article: again TK just read it quickly and gave me some main points to the interview. I didn’t expect her to break it down word for word. We are trying to eat and enjoy each other’s company. I didn’t want her to think I only came to see her for translations.
Basically the article says that JJH appreciates and is thankful to his fans for all their support. He looks for scripts that he will feel a connection to and something that he feels will fit his personality. He would like his fans to feel his characters when he is acting. Something like feeling his character in the movie or drama.
He enjoyed doing I Am King. He explained that he was playing 2 roles. The King and the Pauper. (We already know that).
At one time, he thought of dying. I was like WHAT! Why do Koreans always think of suicide as the way out? But she tried to explain that when people are sad or depressed, they say that they want to die, but they don’t necessarily follow through with it. Anyways, he said he had been feeling very low/sad (probably during his scandal) and he thought of dying, but he couldn’t because he wants to be here for his parents. He had to think about his family.
This is also sad T.T JJH said: He is tall, has dark skin and his eyes are small, and he looks like he has a “cold” personality, so not a lot of people want to say “Hi” to him. boohoo T.T
Also, on a Saturday at 1:00 you might see him walking around downtown Seoul (She gave me a city, but I should have asked her to write it down) all by himself. He will go to see a movie by himself. Wahhhhh! What a lonely guy!
It reminds me of that youtube video where he is getting an award and he is sitting at the same table as YEH, but they don’t talk much and at the end of the awards show, he just pats her shoulder and shakes her hand and leaves all my himself. Poor guy! He looked so handsome in his tux and his hair in a ponytail. YEH had a sexy blue strapless dress with her hair tied in a ponytail too! Maybe, they decided to wear same hairstyles. 🙂
Anyways, last but not least, he likes an independent woman. Work should be important to her and to continue to pursue a career and to NOT change once she is married. This could fit our Miss YEH!

i hate this. not your post bingung. i’ve just written a very long reply, but the page suddenly reloaded and i lost everything, twice. sounds like you had a fun time with your new-found friend and i hope she doesn’t think that you only befriended her cuz you need a korean translator after asking for all those translations, bwahahahaha. i, myself, can’t eat kimchi, but i like the spicy stuff. i like the different pancakes, jjamyeong (?), bulgogi (beef), grilled pork belly lettuce wrap, and bibimbap. i cook some kind of spicy tofu soup that i learned from a korean grocery store, with some chopped up veggies and seafood, yummy.
thank you for the translations. they surely help. about the YEH tweet on aug 20, 2010, i’m confident about that translation, cuz it was from CDBloom, who’s very fluent in both english and korean. he was being neutral, cuz he has to tiptoe on that site. i’m positive that YEH was talking about JJH, though. she was saying that she wanted to hear him call out to her in a low and “at times coarse voice” again “Yoon Sunbae” (the explanation of the word Sunbae was fr CDBloom), but she can’t cuz he was in the military. then she would affectionately answer him “Yes?”, but she can’t for the same reason. Hello everyone! I had a feeling that there would be some questions left unsaid because my friend’s English is not that great. But, I tried. She said that the translations that were already in English were very good. She spends all day at work speaking Korean, and then on Sundays she goes to a Korean church and a lot of her friends are Korean, so I guess she doesn’t get much time to practice her English. She admitted that her English was not that great. But, anyways, I still believe that YEH and JJH are definitely seeing each other and speaking to each other. TK said that Korean actors/actresses will not admit to a relationship until they are ready to get married. They don’t want people to bash or make comments about them if they were to come forward with the relationship and then if it doesn’t work out, it can cause a lot of scandal and people talking about them. Anyways, I guess she has a point there.
She said she would go on Korean websites to see if she could find anything for us. Maybe, in Korea, it is not a secret and everyone knows, but doesn’t bring it up. Sometimes, that happens.
When the time comes, it will all be out in the open soon. I believe like esigh that something big is going to happen soon! 🙂

just want to follow-up on YEH’s tweet (or is it “twit”?) on april 2011. she said that on aptil 14 it was a night filled with warmth. if you recall, in her june 2010 tweet after receiving the two books and a doll from suwon, kyung gi do, she said that the person who gave them to her “made her feelings and night warm.” then i’m assuming that he had to leave the following day, april 15. so, on april 16, she tweeted “while it could have been difficult yesterday….,” because they had to part, again. keep in mind that this happened after the CTP guesting, where she said to her future husband not to worry if he doesn’t have a job (a message that’s almost straight out of Goong), and the star date interview, where she said she wants to take her “husband” to the amusement park. i already said earlier that suwon, kyung gi do was young-ah’s (JJH) military base and that she’s only really had one husband in her dramas. she was definitely talking about the guitar- playing Joo Ji Hoon in this tweet. he must have seen that CTP guesting, with YEH almost in tears, and decided to stop by to make her feel better. i think it was when he was doing that military function wearing that humming bird t-shirt and left that t-shirt with YEH, which she wore while filming LTM. so, how’s that for connecting the dots? i want to see that video with JJH wearing that t-shirt to confirm the date, but i’m getting lazy. maybe, someone else can do it for us? beamonkr, maybe you can check it so you can get more proof?
btw, there was another interesting tweet i read, not from YEH, but her friends. it was after jadu ( the girl who sings and plays the piano in LTM and who is also a talent of YEH’s company) tweeted YEH’s pic at the airport and commented about her height. one of YEH’s friends twitted joking about how YEH likes tall things or things that grow tall. you think she was referring to JJH? i think so….anyeong!

and before i really go for today, YEH does or did watch Goong videos herself and reminisce/d old memories. in one of her tweets, she tweeted a Goong video and asked people to look favorably on it. it was the goong mv stay on youtube. i bet she watched other ones too, but decided to tweet this one cuz it’s innocuous compared to some of the other ones. so, if you left a comment on one of her videos, it’s likely that she has read them, and as long as your comments were not like mine, the videos will still be there. btw, the NG/BTS video for the couch scene has been taken down from youtube. it was the one where YEH was starting to undo young-ah’s tie. if you didn’t see it, too bad cuz it’s gone. see ya…

Also, I’ve been reading all the posts on YEH’s soompi thread and I thought it was conincidental when a palm reader looked at YEH’s hand and said that she would be married twice. The first time is because she had to marry and the second time is because of love. Isn’t that what happened in Goong? How strange that this has come true for her in her real life as an actress. What do you think esigh and chipskjaa? Just like you said that she only married to JJH in the drama Goong.

I probably shouldn’t have posted it on the Soompi thread, kunde (but) I also posted that hot kiss from Goong, episode 23 on that same post and it’s still there, so I don’t know. And oh yeah, just letting you know I’ve seen some of your comments on youtube videos of YEH/JJH because you have the same username. I can’t believe some people were so rude by calling you delusional because you want to believe that they are in a relationship. So what? Who cares? bingung, i think there was a wedding scene on MFL at the end, but i didn’t like her on that drsms. my sister, who turned me on to kdrama, loved that one though. she used to tell me the story while i was driving her to her chemo. when i finally caught an episode on TV, i didn’t like it, cuz YEH looked like she was always high, lol, and the guy was too old for her. i found out recently that the age difference was 11 yrs.

There is no wedding scene for MFL with YEH and the other male lead. I can’t remember his name. All I remember is that he has the same last name as Eune ssi. Anyways, that still comes out true that she has only had been married to Shin Goon aka JJH. Hahaha!!! She had a scene where she tried on a wedding dress and showed the guy just like in Coffee Prince. She wore a wedding dress for Gong Yoo’s character, but they never did get married in the drama. So, that leaves us back to CK and Shin being the best couple in my book. I thought you were watching Answer Me/Reply to me 1997? It’s soooo good!

Gaaah I miss them together so much. Seriously, they need attend the same event or something again now, so we can see them together again. Last time we saw them was in 2009, Baeksang award. It’s been 3 years we haven’t seen them together again yet, even though she attended I am king premiere last august, but It wasn’t enough for me, because there wasn’t any pict of them together or met that premiere. Now, I’m putting a big hope for BIFF next month.

Guys, have you heard that YEH has a comeback drama next october? It will replace Arang and The Magistrate. That’s a melodrama and the leading man is Chun Jung-myung. The tittle is “I Miss You” from MBC.
I don’t know whether I have to be happy or not for her new project but..Arrgh Dammit! I want YEH’s comeback drama with JJH 😥
I was hoped after JJH finished Five Fingers and YEH still keep herself from drama or movie this year. so next year I hope there would be a kind producer who would offer them a drama as the lead characters and the couple..whatever the genre is and the plot is, as long as they are the lead characters and the couple, I would be extremely super duper happy and accept that drama delightfully . But *sigh..seems my dream for their reunion drama the next year still just a dream.

Yea, it would have been nice for her to do a drama with JJH, but if the 2 are in a serious relationship, I don’t think it would make sense to do a drama/movie together because it may not be a good career move. I don’t know of many actors/actresses who are together in real life working together. Usually, it doesn’t turn out well. Can you think of any couples who worked together and are still together?

cara, i read that link that you gave, cuz i was ready to explode. the latest rumor is that YEH rejected the melodrama. it could be that after yoouchun’s agency finished with the negotiations, YEH’s role was cut down. it was suposed to be centered on YEH’s charcater and she gets the biggest part, but after yoochun finally accepted, it was YEH’s turn to reject. maybe, one of yoochun’s conditions is that they make his part bigger. YEH, being a top hallyu star, should not accept that. that’s why i’m saying mbc should just lift the ban on JJH and hire him, wait till he finishes with 5F, and hire him for the role. and since he is just now getting back on his feet again, there shouldn’t be any problems about the part being smaller than YEH. if that happens that will be a big coup for mbc, ratings wise, cuz i know it will go up the roof. yaaaay! good for you YEH!

I don’t want YEH to accept the drama. If you look at the Soompi thread for YEH, some of Yoochun’s fans are being mean by saying that YEH is not a good actress to be his leading lady. S***w the netizens. YEH is way better than him. She doesn’t deserve to be scrutinized and belittled. She has had dramas that were either #2 or #3 in ratings. I hope she declines the offer and waits for a better actor, like JJH. *wink wink*

I do not have any news about YEH nor JJH, but I am a crazed fan of them ever since I stumbled upon watching Princess Hours (Goong, i guess is the more well known title). I am so happy I found this site because this is exactly what I am looking for! I was originally just looking for news and updates about the 2 separate actors, but now that this conspiracy theory is brewing its even better! Please keep the post going. I will be reading (I even subscribed). I really do wish they end up together in real life!!!! They are such an awesome and cute couple!

Welcome yanip! Anyone interested in the Royal couple is welcome. We are just crazed fans too who are not 100% positive that the 2 are together, but I am sure they are at least very close friends. You can also go to Tarits fb to see a group webpage on the 2. There are pictures of them together in Goong and of course separate ones. I only post things that I interept from other fans or interviews. I don’t speak Korean so I also have to go by word of mouth. You can also try YEH’s twitter account.
It’s nice to see that their drama is still very popular and that they give us the hope that they are really together.

I am happy to hear about a new drama with Yoon EunHye ssi. I love her dramas and can’t wait to see her on the small screen. I heard its more of a melodrama. Not her usual romantic comedy, so I will have to brace myself for more tears and tissues. I hate to see Eune cry. It makes me sad when she is sad. But I think she is trying to work “out of her comfort” zone so to speak and challenge herself with acting. That’s a good thing. Anyways, I’m sure we’ll discuss how we love seeing Eun Hye again.

Yes me too Yanip, to me it’s too much/hard to say whether or not they are/were couple. But,one thing I’m 100% sure that they’re close and still keep in touch until now. Best friend, i think the best and safe way to describe their relationship now 🙂 since JJH and YEH also have admitted many times that they’re best friend and support each other.

I was browsing for any news on the Royal Couple… I have been their fan since goong… I am now actively shipping another couple but the reason why I am here in this shipping world is because of JJH and YEH… watching Goong BTS and seing how they interact with each other, I knew in my heart that these 2 actually really like each other…. one of my biggest wishes is to see JJH and YEH together again in a drama or a movie …. Lately, a friend who knew I love the couple shared with me that after JJH came out from MS, he is rumored to be dating YEH… whether they are dating as friends or as special friends (LOL), it does not matter.. so long as they are in touch with each other and so long as neither of them has settled down, my hope that it is THEM for REAL will always be there…. thanks to bigungmama, esigh, caradreams.. to all of u here who shared bits of news about JJH and YEH…. i will probably come and visit here more often… Kamsahamnida..!

YEH twitted that online article pic about herself wearing a couple ring, but put a question mark on it. then exclaimed “what is this?” on the online article (someone provided a link and i read it using bing translate), her manager supposedly offered an explanation that YEH does not usually wear such accessories, which i find pretty lame. it was said that the netizens were saying that the ring looks like jihun’s. for some reason the manager did not offer any direct denial. what i like though is that YEH herself did not tweet any denials. she could have just tweeted “no, it’s not a couple ring!” but by tweeting it herself without any denials, she put that issue out there, even for those who may not have known, now know. and what’s worst, or best, as in our case, that issue is now public record. i’m not looking for YEH to deny, in fact, i love it that she didn’t and that she tweeted it herself. that’s how i actually found out. so, i think it was YEH’s way of letting us hyoonies know, and also, i think she was also excited. remember the book guys, 29th birthday: I have decided to die one year from today? eune just had her 29th birthday, korean. this news came on the heels of her birthday, Busan, closing the deal on i miss you, etc. yoochun is, after all, the same age as jihun, jihun is just marking his territory, so to speak. and i’m sure eun hye is also going to get a visit from him in the future on the set of the i miss you shoot, which he also did in the past while eun hye shot coffee prince. that’s why i said lsg and gong yoo knew the real deal between the two during the MBC awards, where jihun teased eun hye about coffee prince. alright, i have other thought guys. i’ve been away for a while, but i have to go now, the hurricane is coming. i’ll just leave you with one last thought….goong 2 hopefuls, don’t give up. that’s all i can say. ciao!

Thanks for the info about the gold rings. I truly believe that they are secretly together. Too many coincidences with sharing of clothing and accessories. If she isn’t deny that the ring is a couple ring, then I believe it’s theirs. Did you see my comment about the rings after your comment? Isn’t it cute that they chose the same simple gold bands just like in Goong? They are for real! Also, I do want to see them together in Goong 2. How will they be able to announce this and still admit their long lasting relationship? Please just announce that they will be married and then do Goong 2. I guess they can do Goong 2 and then say, “By the way everyone, we fell in love doing Goong, so now we’re going to marry and do Goong 2.” Whatever…just announce your relationship for Pete’s sake. it’s alright bingung. i do it all the time. no need to apologize. it will be next year. the sure-fire way for jihun to be back up where he once was is to do goong 2. so key east may really want to pusue it, especially since 5F is not doing so well for jihun right now that even our chingu tarits eonnie, a true dye-in-the-wool jihun diehard fan, is losing interest, because apparently his comeback drama is turning into a showcase drama for csr. i know jihun would prefer for it not to be so because he would want to get there on his own, but i think that goong 2 is the fastest way to get there. and if eune wants to get there faster, too, for the sake of the marriage happening sooner, rather than later, then she should accept the project. but unlike you, as usual we disagree again, i think they should do goong 2 first, finish it, then announce, only because i don’t want them to receive less credit for their acting. if they announce first, ppl are gonna be looking for those true to life moments, then start making rumors that can affect their relationship. e.g. a hard slapping scene, people could say, “wow that hurts! they must have had a fight in real life and boiled over into the drama shoot.” “maybe eun hye (or ji hun) really got jealous and they had a fight because of it.”, etc. then the press will start to hound them, then all sorts of rumours will come out like cheating, etc. then the drama will suffer, then their relationship, then the netizens will start blogging, criticizing, and demanding for “heads to roll,” then who knows what else can happen. we all know how vicious those netizens can become. so, finish goong 2 first before announcing. maybe do it in the goong 2 special. have ji hun confess and get down on his knees then. yaaaaay!

I agree with you esigh on when they should announce if they are in fact together. That’s why I wasn’t sure how they can do Goong 2 without blowing their cover. It would be so awesome if after they did the drama and then they did the special like Goong 1.5 , Jihun get down on one knee and propose to Eune. That would be the ultimate romantic gesture. I hope there is a Goong 2. Please let it happen with our Royal Couple. 🙂

Thank you for the giving us the latest and greatest on the royal couple! It gave me a huge giggle smile :-D. I saw the pic on YEH’s twitter account and it looks like the same ring she use to wear on her right pinky finger (see JJH & YEH FB page photos) and the same with JJH but except the one he has is an all black ring on his left pink finger. Is there a newer pic out there of JJH wearing a gold couple’s ring too?
As far as goong 2 (technically goong 3, right?) I do wish they make it!!! I am sure they will have tons of fans all over the world who will be watching and that will re-establish/reinforce them both as actors. However, even if this does happened and the bans are lifted on JJH, [sadly] I can understand if JJH would want to hold off doing this project. As an actor and as man in love, he would want to be able to provide for his soon-to-be wife and the only way he can do it is by making successful shows and movies by himself. He would not want to always be in the shadow of his GF where his successful shows is only if he is with his GF (Goong 2, 3, 4, 5….) Although trust me, I would watch them all — day in and night!! I know YEH addressed this before and that she is willing to be the person to bring home the bacon, but it does not take away the fact that it will be/is a huge blow on JJH’s ego/self-confidence and career and that’s why he wants to keep on trying and continues to working hard…that’s why I watch (some parts) of 5F despite the horrible hairstyle they gave him and the super serious drama (I prefer drama-comedy-romance type).
Anyhow, I do still hope they eventually (sooner than later) make goong 2/3 (note I did not watch the goong 2 that is out there) and I do wish this royal k-couple to come out already (!!!!), get married (like they deserve), and lots of happiness!

yanip, there was no goong 2 before. what you are referring to is goong s, which was not a sequel to goong, but rather a spin-off. maybe, not even, cuz the characters were totally different from goong. the only similarity is the word goong. goong 2 was originally planned by the producers and pd hwang to be the sequel to goong with the same characters and actors and they called it goong 2. however, due to some problems with the licensing rights and whatnot it never materialized and the actors moved on and did other projects. group 8, which maintained they have the rights to goong, apparently has not given up on the idea of making goong 2. i don’t know if group 8, a production company still exist today, ‘cuz i read somewhere that they disbanded and split up, and formed another production company. maybe the people that remained still uses group 8 name and kept the rights to goong.

That’s okay chipskjaa. Esigh has been doing most of the research and posting. Thanks esigh. I understand about being a teacher, as you know I am also a teacher. Even with 5 year olds, it’s a lot of work. Sometimes, I stay at work till very late getting things ready for the week or even for a substitute teacher. I hate getting a sub because it is more work to prepare for them. We are crossing our fingers and praying that there will be an announcement soon on who is Eune’s love interest. As esigh mentioned, she did not deny about the couple ring so there must be someone special in her life. Of course, we are hoping it’s JJH. I don’t think Eune will wait past age 30 to let her fans know if she has a boyfriend/husband. Eune wanted to be married before 30, so I think she will announce something within the year. She still can do Goong2 with JJH because it will be a big hit. Everyone still watches Goong on websites and still show it in other countries; Japan and Central America are showing it. It is a popular drama, so it would be foolish not to bank on a Goong 2. Lets not forget that they also made the musical too. Either way, Goong 2 will be made. It’s just that everyone is hoping that YEH and JJH will be the leads. Well, I will end my ranting here. Keep praying for Goong 2 to come out soon. And esigh, even if YEH and JJH don’t do the drama you should still give it a chance. Dramas are only make believe. It’s just fun to watch. It’s not for reals.

yanip, i agree that ji hun will not want to just rely on eune and he would want to get back his creds on his own. i’m just saying that goong 2 will be a faster vehicle to get there. after goong 2, they don’t have to do another drama together again. well, that is if they announce their engagement in the goong 2 special, which, i’m sure there will be one, ‘cuz the ratings will just blow the roofs off (hehehehehe, so excited!) and the rating on the special will also raise the roof. it will be the talk of the town, the whole world, ‘cuz they have worldwide fans, and all the news will want to have a piece of it, including KBS. i’m soooooooo looking forward to it. can’t contain myself. exciting!

i’ve been away for a while, but it’s nice to see we have a new friend join us here. welcome goongaddict! so, do you believe they are a real couple? do you still watch goong like we all do? for me, goong is the only drama i can watch over and over again and still feels fresh like the first time. i laugh, giggle, get angry and frustrated, and cry just the same as when the first time i saw it. goong is the only drama that holds my interest and will continue to hold my interest for as long as i live, i hope. i just wish they’d hurry up and get married for real. 2013 is the year. i will hang my hopes on it.

Reading the article made me a but angry and sad. In angry that JJH would say that marriage is not something to look forward to. Not all marriages are bad. I feel sad for YEH ssi or as done of us call her Eune.
He is basically saying that he doesn’t want to get married. I know Eune does want to marry someday. If she was in a relationship With JJH, she would want to be married, because she wants children.
I get the feeling that they were together not too long ago and have now split up. He wouldn’t say marriage is a bad thing if he wanted to get married. Obviously, he’s not interested in being with someone seriously. I don’t know, this is just my thought.

I need to also calm down and think about what if they are really together and he is just trying to make others think he is not seeing someone. Because for most Korean Hallyu stars, being in an open relationship is very dangerous. Many netizens go crazy and become angered if they find out their favorite star is dating someone. So….please, let’s still believe that the two are actually in a secret relationship. Until, I see a picture with either one of them with someone else, or they announce their engagement to someone else, I will ship these two until then. sorry that i haven’t been here in a while. first, welcome here mumunyinyi and thank you for that link. @bingungmama, thank you for your calm thoughts on the subject of that link. i just read that news bite and here is what i think about it. i think that jjh is just trying to dispell the rumors that, i’m speaking confidently here, we shippers started on the internet. i’m pretty sure that as a result of our shipping, it got some negative reactions from his fans, who just wants him for themselves (as if that’s going to happen, dream on!). it even got to the point where the news were also reporting a “couple ring” for our royal couple. anyway, i’m also pretty sure that his management advised him on doing this. i don’t think that he really believes what he said. why? contradictions in what he said. first he said he wants a woman who is independent and not bother him, then be disappointed coming home and not finding that woman home because she works. that doesn’t match at all. i did find something positive in other things he said, i.e. being devoted to his girlfriend only, so much so that the women he worked with didn’t like him ‘cuz he only treated them as juniors. pls. mind, he said juniors. eune is not a junior, but rather a sunbae. this is positive for me ‘cuz i don’t want them flirting with young-ah anyway. i think that young-ah is just saying the thing about marriage ‘cuz the shippers, like us, are already counting down and they (management) feel that he is not ready since he hasn’t gained a strong foothold back in the industry. i’m not sure if he got his 5 million target audience for IAK and 5F ratings were not that strong either. so, now i think his management is trying to re-make his image into an eligible bachelor, who’s going to be available for shipping with other actresses and gain notoriety that way, just to get his name on people’s lips, to get him talked about. also, i had heard from someone that during interviews in the past, he had asked reporters not to link him to his leading ladies, but these more recent interviews, i think, is a signal that they can say whatever they want. whether it means that our royal couple have finally called it quits, i don’t know. it could also mean that the two of them could have come to an understanding that they will let this happen if it means that young-ah’s career will get on a faster track. anyway, i have said this before and i still believe it, the fastest way to get there is GOONG 2. make it already! like what bingung said, the hope is not lost until an official engagement of either one is announced. a lot of you have waited for over 6 years, what’s 2 more years? @bingung, you know how i really feel, right? hang in there hyoonies! Why would Ji Hoon say such a thing as not looking forward to marriage? I believe like you that he is trying to get his career back strong and the netizens/fans will only support Hom if he is considered single. As if they can marry him for themselves. Anyways, I will work on my story once I’m done with school. I really want to hear done good news soon. Eune is doing an excellent job in “I Miss You”. The chemistry between her and Yoochun is not the same as when she worked with Young-ha, but that’s because this is more of a melodrama. Welcome to this blog rhangg! It’s nice to know that some people still ship these two. Happy New Year to all! I’m sure everyone is happy for Eune on her 2 awards from MBC for Most Popular Hallyu star and for most popular female star. Yea! for YEH! I am so happy for her and for her excellent job in I Miss You. I know at first I didn’t want her to do the drama, but after calming down, I realized that I have to disregard those negative comments that some netizens always like to do to her. I have to take their comments like a grainof salt as I’m sure she also has to learn to do.
Going back to our Royal Couple, I hope 2013 will be a good year for the both of them. Maybe, there will be a Goong 2 and hopefully, they will star in it. There has been rumors that there is a script for Goong 2, but nobody has come forward as to say who will star in it or when it ever, it will be made.
I wish to see these two fine actors real soon in the near future doing a project either together or by themselves. They are both excellent actors and bring lots of joy to their fans. And I’m one of them.
So keep the faith and let’s hope to hear some good news soon.

They’ve been watching YEH’s other Kdramas but they always say that none of those can outshine the romantic thrill they felt while watching Goong.I certainly hope that they will have another project together and end up with each other in real life. 🙂 If there will really be a Goong 2, I hope the both of them will star in it, after all, it was their pure chemistry which made Goong one of the best kdrama.

Hi Rhangg and all those who ship these the Royal Couple. That’s what I like to call them from the drama Goong. I think many fans still watch Goong over and over. Like you said, the chemistry between these two seems so evident even watching their behing the scenes(bts) videos on youtube and from seeing little things like noticing that Eune and Ji Hoon sharing clothing and accessories.
Just the songs that Ji Hoon and Eune choose to sing during their fan meetings seem to convey a love that they miss or cannot openly talk about. Many of us shippers feel that they are in a secret relationship. Scecret being that they are not allowed to be open up their relationship to others, especially in the entertainment business. I hope that they can end this ridiculous affair and be out in the open. I’m sure more people would be happy for them, rather than upset. I feel very sad for Eunessi. She deserves to fall and be in love. I really believe that her and Ji Hoon were much closer than just friends. I don’t know of too many guys who are willing to share clothing and jewelry with each other unless they are in a deep relationship. She looked very much in love with him from seeing their secret signals to each other. She probably doesn’t want to reveal any relationships because unfortunately it will become a scandal and why would she do that to an ex?
I am praying that she will find love whether it is with Ji Hoon or not. She is a lovely woman who needs to be loved. I wish her only the best. Love YEH! Aja! Aja! Fighting Eune! Whomever she falls in love with us truly one lucky guy.

I also want to thank you for sharing with others. This article is actually old news. Her interview is all over soompi.com under her name as part of forums- actors/actresses. I was sad to hear that she was lonely. Again, I’m pretty sure she was with Ji Hoon, but whether or not they are still together is the question. She can’t say she was because it would be a scandal if they had broken up. And let’s assume she is still with him. She still cannot say she is with him if he doesn’t want their relationship to be known. I think they are waiting for the right time to be open about their relationship OR they did break up and if wouldn’t do any good for either one of them to admit it now. So, we will just have to wait and see if either one of them comes out with the news as being together or with someone else. It’s a wait and see game.

Its been 7 years since I first saw Princess Hour but until now I cannot find any love team who have the same chemistry as these two. I would like to join your blog cause I like the Royal couple as well. I already saw this blog last year, while I was figuring out who is the best for YEH after watching LTM, Goong and Coffee Prince. My conclusion was JJH. Must admit your blog influenced my conclusion a lot. I also see the chemistry between the two. Plus JJH is just so handsome, and YEH beautiful inside and outside, who would not like each of them? The BTS and Special of Goong were very nice. They looked comfortable and funny with each other, and they liked each other.
I have some comments on the points raised here:
1. Hummingbird shirt – I saw it in these videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fdxMj8Ys1w and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezp9InhaK9g; both were held on May 12, 2011. So this is after the April visit Esigh talked about. Either JJH got the shirt back or they have similar shirts, just like other similar clothes they had before.
2. Couple ring – I noticed the two with pinky rings during IMY drama. Tarits said those were couple rings. After YEH’s press conference after IMY, both did not wear pinky rings anymore. I first thought maybe because of our posts in JJH Soompi thread, but later I saw that it was also a big topic in Chunhye thread (this time YC and YEH being said to wear pinky rings). If indeed YEH and JJH had relationship, then maybe they did not want to be mixed in the confusion so they agreed not to wear them anymore. Another possibility is also that they split up after IMY (I hope not).
3. Goong 2 – I agree with Esigh that Goong2 would be the fast way to bring JJH back to the limelight, but I also agree with Yanip that JJH will probably want to achieve that on his own. In either way, I am definitely for Goong2 and I wish it to happen before their announcement (if ever this will happen). My reason is: I want to see them try to hide what they really feel for each other and fail (he he).
4. JJH interview on being scared about marriage – I think he just said it to cover up what they are not ready to announce yet. How can he be scared when he himself wanted to marry when he was 24 yrs old? Of course he can change his opinion, but I doubt this. He also said “Life is love”, so why not marry and have your loved one always by your side?
5. YEH saying she’s lonely – I think she really missed someone near while she was sick in the hospital during the last days of IMY shooting. This is one of the disadvantages of a hidden relationship – you cannot support each other in public. Probably it is also to prepare the fans that she will go public when she has a relationship. If indeed they have a relationship now, they do not announce it yet because JJH is still trying to regain his career. But ok, 2013 is not finished yet.
I am watching Goong again but without the English subs to just concentrate on their faces and acting. Have to say they both acted well. Let us continue to support the two and keep on dreaming! Thanks Esigh, Bingungmama and chipskjaa for starting this thread.

Novchime…you really know your stuff!!! I like how you think. I too believe that Eunessi and Young-ah have/had a secret relationship. I am praying that they still are together secretly. Unfortunately, things don’t look so promising since neither mentions the other at all. But then again, they didn’t say much when I think they were really together right after Goong.
I like all your points.

4. Ji Hoon saying he is scared to get married. I agree with you on what he had said earlier in another interview. He wanted to get married at 24 years old. Exactly around the time he and Eune were together.(In my eyes…hehehe) Unfortunatley, I think Eune did not want to acknowledge their relationship, but now in her recent interview she had mentioned, “If you are in love, then you should just say it.” Hmmm…does this mean she regrets not saying that she was in love with Ji Hoon/Young-ah? Wahhhh!!!!! That’s why she had so many tweets on her twitter account that she was sad and lonely. They probably broke up!!! No!!! Andae!!!
5. During the whole IMY filming and even after when they had the awards show, I could see it in Eune’s face that she was sad and lonely. Sorry, Yoo Chun fans, but Eune did not have the same chemistry of love as she had with Ji Hoon in Goong. There is no denying int he bts how much they enjoyed filming together and teasing/flirting with each other. They definitely, as even the director said, “Should JUST DATE!!!!”

But then I read that had a relationship with song ji hyo, anyone know anything? read only news, I never saw any photo or something that made me suspicious. In contrast with yoon eun hye, yes. You who are still friends is significant and song ji hyo, nothing more was heard.

Yes I was dead in 2006. Usually I prefer English series and recently those are run out from my attention. So I started watching Kdrama & Jdrama series in Oct.
As time is limited, I read some reviews for All Time Favorite drama series lead me to Goon.

Hi all! I’m so touched reading the conversations here in a span of almost a decade.. ,so many things have already happened.. You guys have been shipping JJH and YEH! It is almost like a drama in itself..how JJH got into trouble with the law, regained his career..got a gf ..broke up..and now YEH being active in serving the Lord Jesus Christ..all things will work together for good to those who love God… I don’t know what the Lord’s will is for JJH and YEH relationship..but I believe it is going to be for God’s glory!

it’s been 2018 and I’m still hoping for them to be a real couplein future.. im happy to found this blog.. because I am JJH and YEH fans here in the philippines!!! we dont know what will happened in the future… but they still single right?? b’coz jujihoon is single again after breaking up to ga-in.. and eunhye is still single too.. hmmm… sounds good… so i don’t lose hope for them!!! aja!
