Old Shinhwa Performance: Singing As Long As You Love Me

I’m not yet over (and will never be over) Shinhwa! I’m watching Shinhwa Broadcast religiously and I am always waiting for a new ep. But this post is not about Shinhwa Broadcast.

A friend of mine shared this performance with me. It was performed back in 2006 in Japan. They sang As Long As You Love Me, I Love You (Korean version) and Sun In Our Hearts (僕らの心には太陽がある).

The friend who suggested this to me was someone I convinced to like Shinhwa! She actually likes them a lot not because of their crazy antics but because of their ability in English! (Blanket!) But I’d have to agree with her.. that’s one of the thing I like about them too..

Anyhow… they sang my favorite Backstreet Boys song! I swoon when I heard this.. I actually think that is why my friend shared it with me. I know some of the members English is not perfect, but I don’t mind when I heard them sing. Was it nice? It was but it’s their cover of the song so I won’t be comparing it to BSB’s. I’m just happy to see them do this cover.

Another plus in Shin Hyesung sang I Love You. Another Korean classic that I like (originally sung by Position, but the first version is really a Japanese song).  I don’t know who the girl is though.. I can’t read Japanese 😦 But I like the performance. I was not really a fan of Shin Hyesung. I think he is just too shy on broadcasts. So I like Minwoo more :D. But I think he is letting go of himself now in Shinhwa Broadcasts. But his voice is one of the best voices I think in Kpop.

The last song that they sung in this is their Japanese song called Sun In Our Hearts.
