Lagi – Kiss Jane

My Princess is getting very popular in my country. A lot of my friends have been watching the dubbed version on TV (that’s how they show Kdramas on TV). I have been telling them not to be too thrilled with it because they might get disappointed. Well that happened to me! I loved how cute Song Seung Hoon and Kim Tahee‘s characters but by god I couldn’t stand watching a very predictable drama. But blame it on their cuteness, I endured watching all 16 episodes. (ok I will stop yapping now)

Most often than not, when a new Kdrama is being promoted in my country, they have choose a song that would fit it. Goong was a very good example. They used the song If We Fall in Love, and later on made a local version Perhaps Love (Sarangingayo). Then they made a music video from the clips of the drama and advertise it. Ergo, people like the music and the clips so people watch the drama. And this is why My Princess is getting popular. They used the song Lagi (which means always) put some cute clips (can you just be the princess of my heart.. cheesy! but it sounds more cheesy when dubbed) — and voila you get people hooked to the drama! Well they are in for a big surprise (or is it?).

Anyway I am posting the song Lagi by Kiss Jane, not because of the drama. I just wanted to burst my thought bubble thus you see those words above! I love Kiss Jane and  I love the song and that’s why I’m posting it. The song lyrics tells about a girl who has a crush on someone and suddenly he occupies her thoughts all the time. It’s a common theme for a song, and if I am not mistaken the cutesy tone of this song maybe the number one reason for getting picked to be the theme of My Princess.. and I think it worked! kk
