Forever – Monkey Majik (MV)

I love love love Monkey Majik!!! They’re my kind of music!

This is the most beautiful song and PV (they call it PV or promotional video in Japan) of the group. It’s called Forever.

This PV is beautiful because instead of the group singing they have contracted special people to do the singing. I love the concept of people coming together and singing. The lyrics of the song is a very touching one and it’s not just the romantic kind of love but it’s love in general — romantic, parental, friendly… all kinds of love that exists in the world!! ^_^

For the unfamiliar, the group is from Japan and they are composed 2 Canadian brothers and 2 Japanese men. Both the Canadian brothers are fluent in Japanese mind you, so when you listen to their song, you seem to hear a native singing. To me I love the husky and mellow voice of the singer. His voice would fit a rock band but at the same time it one you would love to hear singing a ballad… i would like to call it the best of both worlds. They have had several hits in Japan and I recommend them if your experimenting on listening to a Japanese rock ballad.
