Wish – Arashi (Romanized Lyrics)

A year ago, my addiction to anything Asian was limited to Taiwanese and Korean stuff. Until I saw my first jdorama which was Hana Yori Dango. A friend of mine recommended that I watch it. This drama is the Japanese version of the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. At first I was a bit hesitant to watch it — as I was afraid that it wouldn’t live up to the Taiwanese version. But when I saw it.. boy was I suprised! It was shorter (only total of 20 episodes for hyd 1 and 2).

The beginning song of the drama is also a favorite of mine (notice I have lots of favorite Asian songs :D.. i can’t help it!). It was a song called Wish sung by Arashi.  Jun Matsumoto, who played Domyouji Tsukasa in the drama, is one of the members of the Jpop band. I loved the music video of the song.. It had a story of a painter who falls in love with a maiden in a town. He paints the picture of the girl on a big wall to show how much he loves the girl.. sigh.. wish someone would do that for me too ahahaha! I wanted to share this music to everyone so here it is.
